VTS Current Headlight Camera
During the 1990s VTS has a large impact on the use of video technology in the medical field. Our achievements include, but are not limited to, the first HDTV broadcast in the medical field, one of the first Surgical Light Cameras, and video conferencing via satellite.
In the early 1990s VTS developed and manufactured one of the first Surgical Light Cameras. These cameras included rotating contacts which allowed the surgical arms to rotate over 360 degrees without twisting the camera's wires. VTS also installed ALM surgical lights, along with our Surgical Light Cameras. The success of our Surgical Light Cameras caused an increase in demand for customized video systems for medical use. The systems designed by VTS gradually expanded to include equipment for video editing and recording.
Today VTS still continues to produce a wide range of custom electronic devices for clients in the medical field. These devices include, but are not limited to, high quality surgical grade LCD displays, headlight cameras and 3CCD cameras, HD camera/displays systems, video capture systems and fiber optic audio, video and control transmission equipment. We also produce the only Headlight Camera that fits through the optical lens.
VTS also has a great deal of experience with integration ranging from single OR installations to systems that include multiple Operating Rooms, Conference Facilities, Video Conferencing, Surgical Theaters and Control Rooms. Our staff has witnessed many operations, which enables them to position the equipment properly and determine the correct functionality. These systems are customized to meet our customers every need and budget. VTS takes pride in the fact that some of the leading hospitals in the world have turned to VTS for OR integration. We consult with the hospitals during the architectural planning phase through performing the first case in the newly integrated Operating Room.
