Melville, NY— September 10, 2008 — VTS Medical Systems Announces New 26" Surgical Grade Wide Screen Monitor
VTS Medical Systems (VTS) announced availability today of its VividImage® 26" Surgical Grade widescreen monitor featuring true High Definition for a hospital’s Operating Room. Cable management is improved by positioning ports on the diagonal, resulting in cables that are less likely to be compromised. An intuitive and easy-to-use front panel interface allows the end-user instant “one-touch” access to six video inputs and multiple image control settings.
Some features of the VividImage® 26" Surgical Grade Wide Screen Monitor include:
True HD – crisp, clear images with true-to-life color rendition
Advanced signal processing and minimized image lag – accuracy for surgeon as images from the camera are displayed in near real time
Engineered and tested to perform seamlessly with cameras from leading vendors, protecting current and future investments
Tested in hospital ORs – input from physicians, nurses and biomeds is incorporated into the final design
Optimized cable management / Enhanced aesthetic – with ports positioned on the diagonal, cables are less likely to become compromised and a thinner monitor profile is achieved
One-touch access on front panel – six video inputs and a power button all with illuminated indicators, and access to menu navigation
“The VividImage
® 26" Surgical Grade HD Monitor provides the surgeon with their most important tool; precise diagnostic images and true color rendition with minimal image lag” stated Allan Katz, founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of VTS Medical Systems. “VTS’ success in diagnostic imaging can be traced to the fact that we incorporate surgeon’s feedback into our engineering design” stated Katz.
VTS is also well known for integrating operating rooms providing seamless touch screen control of heterogeneous equipment resulting in improved productivity and knowledge management.
Being vendor neutral, VTS’ OR integration strategy protects the hospital’s investment in lights, endoscopic cameras and equipment management systems while providing a way to improve OR utilization and productivity of physicians and nurses.
