Multi-Purpose Mobile Cart
The Multi-Purpose Mobile Cart provides the ultimate in flexibility when mobility of medical equipment is necessary. The cart allows secure, stable relocation of equipment from room to room, or within a room, on a moment's notice.
The cart has many ideal applications, such as:
- Mobile computing in/out of procedure rooms
- Equipment resource-sharing among procedure rooms
- Rapid room setup for one-time applications such as audio/video conferencing
- Other applications such as simulation room audio/video data capture
The cart includes:
- Retractable computer keyboard tray for ergonomic data entry
- Separate mouse tray that slides out from side of computer tray
- Height adjustable work area
- Side-mounted holder for a mouse or remote control
- Drawer for secure (lockable) storage
- Lockable wheels
An example of a fully accessorized configuration could include all of the above plus:
- Up to two (2) attached tripods for two PTZ room cameras
- Up to two (2) mounted output display monitors with room for a third computer-attached monitor
- A laptop and tower computer
- Audio pre-amp
- Medical grade power strip
The photos show the Multi-Purpose Mobile Cart custom configured with the above equipment for use in a Simulation Center. The top photo shows the cart in its mobile state (ready to be rolled). The bottom photo shows the cart with the tripods and room cameras removed. The cart can be custom configured with equipment for a particular application, such as videoconferencing, where mobility of the equipment would be most beneficial to the facility.
